2005 MadFish Sauvignon Blanc Semillon Reviews

MadFish Sauvignon Blanc Semillon sets a benchmark for this fashionable wine style. It has not yet disappointed me, as it brims with freshness and personality. It is highly scented, with passionfruit and citrus aromas, and it has delicious pineapple flavours. The palate is enlivened by fresh acidity, but it is neither sour nor sharp. It is ripe and fruity ? a sheer pleasure to drink ? and exceedingly well priced for its quality.

Spotlessly clean; a lively, bright and fresh mix of light tropical fruit and balanced acidity. Drink now.

Fresh, lifted gooseberry/lychee nose. Excellent varietal impact on a long, weighty, flavoursome palate that has seamless balance between sweetness and acidity.
