The colour is a dense brick red and the mousse settles after opening to a gentle prickle. Primary aromas of fruit leather and plum pudding are complemented with earth and spice regional characters. The palate is full bodied, creamy and rich from the yeast autolysis on lees in the bottle. Finishing long and fine with complexity and nuances from the expedition liqueur, the MadFish Sparkling Shiraz is designed to be drunk within the next three years.
