Craig Dunkerton
Cellar Door Manager, Margaret River

Craig Dunkerton is our new Cellar Door Manager at MadFish in Margaret River. After many years working in various aspects of travel & tourism, including time as a Scuba Diving Instructor, Ski Guiding in Austria and Outback adventure tours in the North West it was a working holiday job in a London Wine Bar which changed the course of Craig’s career.

“Working in a wine bar in London gave me exposure to the global diversity of wine and gave me the opportunity to try everything from Spanish Albarinho to Californian Zinfandel. It was here that my interest in wine developed into a passion.” On returning to Australia, Craig completed a Graduate Diploma in Wine Marketing at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia.

A keen traveller Craig met his wife Nicky in St Anton Austria and in 2007 they welcomed their first child Kyah into the family.

Craig remarks “Managing the cellar door at MadFish Wines gives me the opportunity to bring together my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for both Tourism and great wine. It is a great opportunity that I am very excited about.”
